The activated carbon effectiveness is
directly related to the surface and the absorption capacity
of the filter. ACTIFAIR filter with its extended surface,
outdo the granulated carbon filters. Gram for gram, the
ACTIFAIR filter performs better. The media being filled
with carbon and laminated to a wire netting, then folded
and sealed to a rigid cardboard frame providing an increased
resistance.
Testing Method
The concentration of contaminants are 425 parts per millions
with an ACTIFAIR filter while in operation. All operations
are brought to a specific area. The concentration is controlled
until the bottom limit of OSHA in 8 hours per day and 40
hours a week.
